Creativity + Business Savvy = Innovative Solutions.
Marte Siebenhar founded Cultured Innovations because she believes that healthy, thriving and connected communities and businesses start with people. By creating and expressing with others, we begin to understand ourselves and each other more deeply. We begin to see our challenges differently. We begin to see how we fit together and impact each other. New, important possibilities and solutions are born, that couldn't have been otherwise. This is why interactivity is at the heart of everything we do.
Originally trained as an orchestral musician, Marte uniquely combines her artistic creativity with her experience as a strategist across the United States to develop customized, innovative solutions and help cultivate leadership for corporate, nonprofit and individual environments. She is a consultant, coach, facilitator, strategist and storyteller.
As Assistant VP of Audience Development at New World Symphony, America’s Orchestral Academy and an innovative laboratory for the ways in which music is taught, performed and experienced, she exceeded the revenue benchmark for a single ticketed event in its 30-year history by 15%, attracted a record percentage of new audience members (61.5%) to a single event and brought in nearly $18,000 in sales from new ticket programs she created, all in her second season there. As Executive Director of Bakehouse Art Complex in Miami, she increased annual attendance 229% , attracted hundreds of thousands of dollars in new sources of funding, including the organization's first National Endowment for the Arts grant since the 1980s, and secured the United States premiere of La Tauromaquia by Pablo Picasso through Bank of America's Arts in Our Communities Program.
She worked directly with “Turnaround King” Michael Kaiser in a strategic planning role at the DeVos Institute of Arts Management at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. There, she managed paid arts consultancies serving every arts industry and created strategic plans and training resources used by organizations worldwide. Consolidating and analyzing best practices of hundreds organizations helped prepare her for a role supporting and empowering the leaders and businesses of today.
An alumna of Manhattan School of Music, fellowships with the Kennedy Center and The Miami Foundation, and work at Carnegie Hall, Marte actively serves as an advocate and advisor to Venture Cafe Miami, The Pioneer Winter Collective, Radical Partners, Maven Leadership Collective and the Emerging Arts Leaders of Miami. She practices running, yoga and meditation daily, and thrives on innovation, learning, travel and music.
