1. Identify what is happening when your best ideas show up.

What time is it? Where are you? Are you alone? Are you focused or relaxed? Notice how you feel, and what you are thinking, saying, and doing. Take notes.

2. Re-create those conditions so your best ideas can happen on purpose.

Position yourself to be inspired. This might mean selecting a specific place where ideas flow or starting a routine or ritual to help you tap into flow.

3. Reconnect with your imagination.

When did you last dip into the unknown, just for fun? Although you might expect bad things from the unknown, it's actually the source for good ideas, too.
